Neben dem Schreiben redet Philipp auch liebendgern. Von 2020 bis 2024 war er Co-Produzent des internationalen Drehbuch-Podcasts „Euro Pudding“. Wenn er frühmorgens nicht gerade seiner Nebenpassion folgt und leidenschaftlich Spinning-Stunden gibt, entwickelt er gerade diverse Stoffe in seinen Lieblingsgenres Crime, Thriller, sowie Feelgood- und Romantic Comedy.

Er wohnt in Berlin und schreibt und entwickelt Stoffe sowohl auf Deutsch als auch auf Englisch.

After a short stint in radio, Phil learned the nuts and bolts of television production working on the sets of various German TV shows such as „Die Rosenheim Cops“ and „Doctor’s Diary“. Having attained his master’s degree in Screenwriting at Bournemouth University (UK) in 2012, he quickly set foot as a writer in the German TV landscape working for the award-winning Bavarian daily series “Dahoam is Dahoam” for several years.

After completing “Serial Eyes” – Europe’s premier postgraduate training program for TV writers and producers at the DFFB in Berlin – in 2019, Phil has written for a number of successful TV shows, such as “In aller Freundschaft – Die jungen Ärzte” and “Die Spreewaldklinik”. Along the way, he also branched out into “legal terrain”, writing for the TV series “Für alle Fälle Familie”, and audio, in that from 2020 to 2024 he was co-producer of the international screenwriting podcast “Euro Pudding”.

At the moment, while being always open to all sorts of formats, Phil is developing a variety of projects in his genres of passion, i.e. crime, thriller as well as feel-good and romantic comedy.

Phil lives in Berlin. His writing languages are German and English. And in his spare time, he is a passionate indoor cycling coach 🙂
