Candice Onyeama is an award-winning Nigerian-British writer, filmmaker and storyteller based in Berlin. Her short films have screened at international festivals around the world, including the BFI London Film Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival, Roving Eye, Rhode Island International Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, and many others. Her work has been distributed on various platforms, including the BFI Player and Blavity TV across Apple and Roku.<\/p>\n

Her television work includes 2nd unit direction across six episodes of the first series of Steve Knight’s ‚SAS: Rogue Heroes‘, for the BBC. She was also part of a writer’s room led by production company Action Concept for the German broadcaster ZDF. She is also working as a freelance screenwriting consultant at Lettretage<\/a>, Berlin\u2019s literary institution.<\/p>\n

Candice recently completed an audio storytelling intensive with Audible and is currently developing stories across multimedia platforms, including an audio thriller series entitled RIDERS, a horror feature film with Erebus Pictures, and an adaptation of her debut feature script, ANOTHER I (ranked in the top 15% of nearly 6000 submissions to the Academy Nicholl Fellowships 2022) into a novel.<\/p>\n

Candice is the founder of inclusive film company Genesis Child Productions and also delivers authentic storytelling workshops for emerging writers and filmmakers in Berlin.<\/p>\n
