After a short stint in radio, Phil learned the nuts and bolts of television production working on the sets of various German TV shows such as \u201eDie Rosenheim Cops\u201c and \u201eDoctor\u2019s Diary\u201c. Having attained his master\u2019s degree in Screenwriting at Bournemouth University (UK) in 2012, he quickly set foot as a writer in the German TV landscape working for the award-winning Bavarian daily series \u201cDahoam is Dahoam\u201d for several years.<\/p>\n
After completing \u201cSerial Eyes\u201d \u2013 Europe\u2019s premier postgraduate training program for TV writers and producers at the DFFB in Berlin \u2013 in 2019, Phil has written for a number of successful TV shows, such as \u201cIn aller Freundschaft \u2013 Die jungen \u00c4rzte\u201d and \u201cDie Spreewaldklinik\u201d. Along the way, he also branched out into \u201clegal terrain\u201d, writing for the TV series \u201cF\u00fcr alle F\u00e4lle Familie\u201d, and audio, in that from 2020 to 2024 he was co-producer of the international screenwriting podcast \u201cEuro Pudding\u201d.<\/p>\n
At the moment, while being always open to all sorts of formats, Phil is developing a variety of projects in his genres of passion, i.e. crime, thriller as well as feel-good and romantic comedy.<\/p>\n
